Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, This was written in 2021. You turned 30 recently and have a plan in place this year. You want to do IVF, begin your process of physically transitioning, you have a 9 month old puppy and your fiancé. You have been struggling with your mental health, especially with having PTSD. As much as you’ve came to accept it, you are still struggling with the diagnosis. No one truly understands it all. So future me. I hope when you receive this you have your two beagles. You have a child that you’ve spoken to your fiancé about and you are further into your physical transition. That you’ve hit the goal you’ve wanted to achieve with work in being a Systems Admin. I also hope you finally got married. By then you would have been with your fiancé for 15 years! Hopefully you can call each other husband by then. I also hope you managed to get all the house redecorating done that you’ve been putting off. I can’t blame you, wallpaper is a nightmare. I do hope you can look back 5 years from now and still see your achievements even when the times can be dark. You managed to get a better grip on your mental health and are able to continue on the right path. I also hope your physically health is also improving. That you don’t have to be on so much medication. I hope life is treating you well. That you are still the same geek that I am now and no more socks are getting stolen!
