Dear FutureMe,
I'm glad this letter finally reached you. At the time of writing this, I'm in grade 9. Guess you must be in college by now. I hope you throughly enjoyed your school years, didn't turn your back on any experience, and still are best friends with the people who matter the most to you. I hope you've finally discovered who you're meant to be, I hope you've finally come to terms with the person you can never be. I hope you've forgiven every single person that has crossed your line in the past couple years, I hope you understand yourself better than ever. Right now, it's 1:48 pm, 18 April 2021, a Sunday, and life can't be simpler or easier. And I'm sure, 5 years from today, that is not the case anymore. I'm sure you feel hopeless at times, I'm sure you feel like you're fighting all alone. But remember, even when you feel alone, you're not. Because i'm here. I, your past, is here. And I always will be. I will always will be there to remind you of the times and the hurdles you've lived through. I will always be there to tell you that this is not the end, that there are yet so many more things in life you've never seen. So many more struggles you're yet to experience. And at the end of the tunnel, I promise you, there is light. Never give up. Ever.
