A letter from Apr 15th, 2021

Dear FutureSelf, Hey, Happy B-day! Wow, you're already 21 years old, now you're old enough to drink, or have you already been doing that? Maybe by this time, you've stopped rejecting people, and actually have a boyfriend now. If not, then that's fine too. Are you still friends with R and T? You know your friends since 8-10th grade? I hope so. I promise I'll try to stick with them to make sure that you are. Wait a minute! By the time you get this, my brothers will be 4 years old, and in school. I wonder how they are doing. You better still be treating my mother right as well, I'm not kidding around. How are your grades? Are they still good? What about the Covid situation? I'm wondering has everything gone back to normal in 4 years or are we still social distancing. Now that I think about it, isn't it around time to vote for the president? Wow, this will be your first voting experience! I already know who you are going to vote for. Did you get into Stanford? If not, don't worry I'm not disappointed in you. I just hope you are still on the path to becoming a doctor. Man, I don't know what else to tell you. Be safe, and always stay true to yourself and your values. Good luck!
