A letter from Apr 14th, 2021

Dear Future daughter, Hi baby! Its your mama! Your not even here yet or even a possibility yet but I know your gonna be one strong and mighty, beautiful girl/women. Your going to be everything i wish i was at such a younger age than it took me to become the best possible version of yourself. I know your a bad *** warrior queen or doesn't take **** from no one. I hope you have my curls and appreciate them a lot sooner than i did. Maybe you have blue eyes or green, i always wanted green eyes growing up but whatever eye color you have is the most beautiful color the world has ever seen because your my special and extraordinary girl. I know i raised you to be a feminist and a lover of all creatures, no matter the size, color, or and imperfections. We must be kind to all and always be the better person. I'm gonna be honest, there's some people that i simply have no patience for and if your anything like me i'm sure its hard for you as well. Mama is not a fan of Republicans or anyone far left and honestly i'm a bit iffy about middle and even Democrats. Mama is also not a fan of bullies or bigots. Also try to be better than them, your kind and loving and empathetic, i'm assuming and hoping if I've done my job correctly but girl do i know they really can get the blood boiling and from time to time you may receive grace for not being as "Treat people with kindness" all the time. My girl, I've waited for you for such a long time. I went through periods of time when i didn't want kids but not because i didn't want you or any other kids but because the world can be so awful and it just didn't seem fair to make a child be born in this world. I hope by now it's better. My hopes are that Black Lives Matter, Middle Eastern Lives Matter, Indigenous Lives Matter(especially our fellow sisters who truly suffer the most), Asian Lives Matter, LGBTQIA Lives Matter, ect. I hope our planet is doing better and people finally really care. I hope women are being treated better and are equal. I just want all to be good but don't think of me as a fool, i know that's a lot of progress to happen all at once and we have so many people in this world against all of this but i can still have hope and a fight inside me. Please my dear girl, never lose your fire or fight, love whoever you want to and be yourself and never apologize for who you are, be her and be so proud and loud about it. Baby you have many family members who don't agree with our values but that's okay mamas got your back and will always speak for the voiceless as should you. I hope you love music, movies and books as much as i do and going out into nature for some good ole tlc and plant your feet in the earth so that it can heal you of all your aches and pain of all kinds. Baby i love you so much, please always romanticize your life and never give up. Mama tried to give up many of times but baby look at how beautiful my life ended up being because the world wouldn't let me leave. People to always keep in your life, your aunty Miranda, Roma and Logan, Your uncles Gabe, James and Ken, and i hope you love your grandparents but understand that mamas relationship with them has always been a bit difficult for much of my life but i hope you have a good one with them and if Mimi and Pops got to meet you baby know that i almost don't agree with anything they believe in but they are some of the greatest grandparents of all time and so are Nanny and grandpa and your Granny. Love and cherish them and sometimes learn to close your mouth and just try to be present with them because no one lives forever. I hope and dream all things for you my precious baby girl. I love you very much and can't wait to meet you! Love, Mama
