A letter from Apr 12th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Honestly I don’t know where I am going to be in the next four years. There are a lot of choices to be made and decisions to be made by the time you get this letter. Well hell I don’t even know what the next few months after high school will look like, I could take that opportunity overseas and make something of it. Or I could bunker down somewhere here in the states with a nice lady and try to make it as a police officer. Remember Aunt Corey’s 50th birthday, well that was last Saturday and it honestly was one of the better times I've been having recently. This past week of school remember missing a lot of school and only coming once to class ? Well that is where I am at recently, a lot went on during that week out of school and hopefully you remember and never let it happen again ya know. To say the least, April 2021 has been a very confusing month for me and I hope you have learned by now what you want and what you need. I hope you have gotten your **** together and are bettering yourself off, staying out of all the toxicity, out of the things you don’t need in life that causes you harm or worsening your health. I hope you have been keeping in contact with all the boys that helped grow with you, well at least I hope we have, Adrian, Trev, Dom, and Demtri in contact. If you haven't talked to them in a while don’t feel afraid to shoot a text, remember all the fun times we have had together. Don’t be afraid if the mother we both share has gotten worse in her health, I have been hoping by the time you get this letter she’s made a nice recovery and has her health under control but if not, hey that is life you get what you give. I’m praying you don’t have a child yet, unless you are financially stable because those guys are money grabs all the way. Oh I really hope you have a nice job that you wake up and enjoy going to get that cash instead of dreading counting down the hours until you have to clock on. Really praying that all the harmful things that went into my body at these ages haven't been biting you back just yet. I am at the point in life where I have been trying to stop doing all the harmful things and improve my life for the better instead of repeating itself, but you know how hard this **** is. Yet how much fun you/I had during these years I really hope it isn’t the highlight. I am so excited to see where I have gone during these years. If you have forgotten about some of the goon things you did as a young kid, just remember the time you, Tanner, and Demtri got locked in Mr. Murphy’s closet for the whole class just sitting there minding our own business. Don’t forget about the months our dad was in Panama and how much parties we threw there just having some good nights, all the people who were in and out, all the people who called us a friend, lastly just remember the nights we sat up late at night thinking about what the future holds for me, all those nights on the roofs and bridges just thinking. Anyways man I will stop boring you with this long letter.
