Dear Roman,
I am writing to remind you of the most important things. Yesterday at evangelism bootcamp Eric Gilmour spoke on humility. I thought it was the most wonderful sermon that he preached! Even though I didn't feel much emotions behind the sermon, I knew he was teaching us the truth. Humility is the greatest, and God is seeking humble men and women, which I believe you are one of them. There is true passion and zeal in me to seek after the humility of Christ, for it was his meekness that let Him endure the point of *****, and ***** at the cross.
I sure hope you're married by now, but if not then God has something more in store for you. Don't sweat it, it's not a big deal. Some serve Christ better with partners, and some alone like Paul But we are never alone for the Father is with us. Let His Spirit guide you, and I'm not just saying that, really press on to know Him. I cannot just see and hear Him unless I empty myself and let Him fill me with good things. Remember that time you got discouraged when you couldn't empty yourself and came to mom and David to complain to them? Yeah, don't do that. It's not your job to empty yourself, it's Christ's power with in you. I don't know how that works, but He does work.
What are your goals? I know you're very goal driven, are you still pursuing souls with all your might? Remember that Daniel Kolenda always remarked about urgency. Don't forget where and why God called you, don't forget the feelings of hell He showed you. He called you not if your talents but because you're available. It's not just getting people out if hell, that's half the work, equip them with Christ's grace so they experience heaven now here on earth. If you're preaching the gospel all over the world use the collaboration of pastor's, let them help you by discipling the new converts. It's very important that they are brought in the body of Christ, so make it a priority to link evangelism to the local church. Train the churches to take care of their converts, for these are the little ones that Jesus mentioned so often in the gospels.
I just want to tell you that no matter where you are in life right now, I am proud of you. It's not about your accomplishments, it's about your identity. I'd like to remind you of that plane flight to Mexico where you encountered the Lord so strongly. The identity subject He opened wide open. Don't be intimidated by any leaders, or even your peers. They are your brothers and sisters, treat them like family. This is very important, don't pay attention how you look to them, just be confident and really try to hear what they are saying. Listening is more important than talking. Hear our your dearest brothers and sisters, even if you don't know them well. People are your most important asset, make sure to spend time on them. Spend on them! Don't be stingy, you won't take anything to heaven with you anyway. But you know all this better than I do, in fact I should be learning from you.
Remember the prophecies you received? Did you believe them and kept at them? Abraham gave you one about writing. Keep writing, a pen and a paper can change the course of the world. Paul did it, but not just because he wrote, he was a man of integrity and a humble servant of God. It was Christ in him that inspired those letters. Keep going! Write, because souls depend on it.
I'm so excited to see the things that changed and what stayed the same. I am just so thankful to God that He met you and laid the foundation in those Sergey Shidlovskiy's sermons. Never forget to pray and read the Bible, even if you give up ministry don't give up Christ, for He will pursue you to the end of the earth. Above all love, and love works the hardest. Love people, put all effort into them. Seek out ways to help them as Christ would. I love you!
To Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Timothy 1:2 NASB1995
