A letter from April 7th, 2021

Dear Future Me, I don't know exactly what to say to you, if you're ever getting this, if you're still alive. My name is Verity. I'm almost 12 and I suck at speaking French. I like reading (specific genres) and writing figurative language. (I think that's what it's called) I also like painting mushrooms. It is 12:01 AM (rn) which means it's officially Thursday, April 8th 2021. I'm planning on pulling an all nighter, which is probably a bad idea but I doubt I'll actually make it. I go to school (6th grade) on the 26th (pandemic) and I am not looking forward to it. My favorite animal is a moon jellyfish and I recently had a breakdown and deleted my TikTok and Wattpad accounts. I think that wraps up my introduction. School is ******* me, except for cooking class. I really like Mr. Correa. He's pretty cool. My grades are falling, thank goodness the year is almost over. I have, like, 2 months left. That was surprising fast but excruciatingly slow at the same time. Honestly, I don't know if things actually get better. I don't know if I trust that. Maybe you just get used to it. You better be living proof that I'm wrong. It is now 12:25 and I have only been writing for barely half an hour. The universe loves to take it's time, doesn't it? I have some questions. Questions that might seem stupid and I know that Me Right Now will never see them but I think it will be fun to be you and smile while not saying anything but answering my own questions in my head. Anyways, do you have a significant partner? If yes, is it who I think it is? (I will be very sad if you do not remember who I am thinking about) How's your mental health? What's your hairstyle like? Who's the president? Do you still cosplay? FIRST KISS YET?? Future plans? You better still have your V-Card, missy >:( Who are your friends? Do I know any of them? And recent art pieces that your proud of? What's one thing you wish you could tell me? Are you okay? I think that's all I've got. I would love to make this cinematically long but I don't think there's a lot to tell you. It's not like I can give you any advice. You can't write to the past. That would be cool. Oh, there is one thing I wanted to tell you. And many peple might tell you this but I think it would mean a lot more coming from yourself. You are enough.
