Dear FutureMe,
I hope you are much happier than you are right now. Life is difficult right now. I am not sure if I will get the promotion I want at work, which has led me to think about the "what next" aspect of it. I hope whatever happens with that situation, we could make the right decision and are much happier. I hope you finally have the things you want that prove your hard work wasn't for nothing. I truly hope we are happier.
