Dear FutureMe,
I bet you probably forgot about this thing by now. I'm you when you were sixteen. For our own sake I hope you are doing better than you were when you were me. I hope you still write poetry and I hope that you have finally bought a penguin. But those things aren't what is truely important. What have you made of yourself? It's Christmas eve when you are 26. What have you done to make your life worth while. Are you an arcitect? If not, are you doing something that makes sense and makes you happy? Do you have a cool little car or a **** box? Have you let go of your dreams? If not, then congrats from you to you. We made it! But if your living in a one bedroom shack with a leaky faucet and some dude you hate but no one else will love you, get the hell out of that situation now! Leave it! **** yourself if you can't because that is no position you want to be in. We had dreams you jerk! But I hope to God that you are doing well. Call Mom and Dad. Call John. Get in touch with your sisters and your brother. Make sure you take care of yourself. It doesn't matter what you look like, but just make sure that you make the best that you can with what you've got.
Love,
You(@ 16)
Julie
