A letter from April 5th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Welcome to the year 2026. Crazy right? Remember when you turned 18 in the year 2015, and you didn’t think you would live to see that moment? You fought so many battles as a young girl, and I’m so proud of you for making it this far. It’s the year 2021, you have goals to meet by 2026. How’re those goals coming around now? Did you get that promotion in work? Did you & Scott get married? Are you planning on starting a family? Did you finally get the dream home you wanted, prayed hard for & worked your *** off for? (After late nights budgeting & spending your days on Daft.ie! Are you finally happy in yourself, cause I know you’ve worked hard to try finally be free from the negative thoughts & to work hard on yourself to finally love yourself after years of doubt & hatred. Even if you haven’t reached those goals yet, it will happen, you have to be patient. Remember where you were in life when writing this in 2021, and just how far you’ve come now. You’re getting ready to turn 29 this year, keep going, you can & will do anything you set your mind to. You’re a strong woman, always have been & always will be. Be kind to yourself always.
