Dear FutureMe,
It is 2021 and we are still going through this pandemic Covid-19. Many people have died and lost loves ones because of Covid-19. Hope all this ends and social justice too. Social Justice is defined as a philosophy, an approach and actions that embody treating all people with fairness, respect, dignity and generosity. Racism has become worst every year where discriminating someone whether on race, gender, social class or other differences. Every day their is racism it can be in schools, work, at a store or any other place. Racism has to stop and we as teachers need to do something to be there for our students. We all are equal and humans to be respected the same way. That is why I write this letter to you Stephanie. Five years from now you will be a teacher and have your own classroom. You will be in charge to provide all the help the children need. Listen to them if they need someone to talk to. To respect the children and guided them to the right path. Make sure your kids feel safe in your classroom and trust you. I hope that you can talk to your kids about racism and to let them understand and to not let it happen in your classroom or anywhere else. Be positive and care for your children. I know you will succeed and make the best for your students. You have the POWER!
-Stephanie five years from now
