A letter from March 22nd, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, While I'm writing this, I am in my dark room. In the middle of the night. On my bed. I put my head on my dirty pillow. And... My English is broken. Sometimes Hi AL in the future. I hope you will read this letter from yourself in the last 5 years. I wanted to tell you that I am still looking for a job. I have a plan to apply a job after the month of Ramadhan. Inshaallah. This year will be my first time to work with others. Yes! Can't wait!. To fulfill my needs, I currently work with my father in his small bakery. We still sell traditional cakes called Kue Talam. It is very delicious. I have no clue those cakes will be still popular or not in your era. I don't care. I just want you to look after your father very well. Love him much. and love your family as well. AL, I believe when you're reading this, you are getting a paycheck or making money. You must be 29 years old now. If you're not, please use your time wisely. Wake up and go outside. Let yourself get out of your comfort zone. You know what? This year is not only tough for me, but also your first brother, Iq. He's unemployment now. He has applied for some jobs but still doesn't receive a call. Your third brother also has no a job. I don't know what he's thinking. I just could pray for them. So I have to work first, Al. To make money, to get new experiences and to build my network. I have a plan to work in another city, Berau. It takes 12 hour-drive. So long but worth trying! I think I will be a waitress in a resort. This is my small step I can do. Hope this step can help you and your family in the future,Al. I am so glad to know that you are living in another country right now. That's cool! Isn't that one of your goal? Have you visited your friend in America? How is your English right now? I bet not English you're good at but some other languages too! The last thing I wanted to say is no PMO anymore, please. It has been ruined your life. Your time is limited and you get to spend it wisely, AL. Promise to me, okay? Sincerely, Yourself in the past.
