A letter from March 21st, 2021

dear future me, i just wrote a letter to myself in a year, but i figured why not write one to myself in 5 years too! when you read this letter, (if you ever get to read it) you'll be 21. 21! oh **** you wont even be a teenager anymore. how weird is that? i want to be a teen forever..... but enough of that, agings a part of life (no matter how i wish he latter), and there nothing you can do to stop it. unless you're dead. i wonder if you're dead? i guess i wouldn't know, would i. right now you're SUPPOSE TO be doing your english essay. the MINIMUM word count is 1500 words. and it's due in..... 17 hours. but in those 17 hours u still have 2 sleep AND go to school. whatevs i'm planning to skip half of school tomoz to go op shop, and craft supply shopping. OH! a also got some alc, so i'm getting wasted tomoz too. .....i can't wait to NEVER have to do another english class again. speaking of classes, what did u decide to do career wise? u went to uni i suppose, and did some sort of science degree? maybe? i suppose u could have done a 180 and went into fashion design instead. do you think about lil peep (rip)? i don't really listen to him anymore, but he was such a big part of your life for years. **** you'll almost be older than him, or actually i think u will be older than he ever was. this must be so weird reading this letter. it's weird writing it too. right now i'm sitting on my double bed in my room, your parents had just found your alc stash a few days ago, you just heard your dad walking down the hallway, you just ate lamb curry (with a roasted chilli!) made by your mum. you have lots of assignments due this week, but there's more to come. did you ever actually kiss mx? or did u two just keep dancing around eachother (cuz he has a gf) and then fade? do you still listen to deftones? do you have a bf? omg, r u married? are u thinking of having kids? i don't think i want kids rn... but i'm not sure. i hope mum and dad are still around, give them a call! and call your little brother too! r u still friends with a? r u an water addict now? lmao my mum just called me from the kitchen asking me "what r u going to do with this icecream?!" (i left it out to melt a bit so it would be easily to scoop out, i'm going to go get it now) okay i'm back with my ice-cream. who's the president of the united states of america? is scomo still our pm? what's the situation with n. and s. korea? what's the newest iphone number? are there people on mars? has the usa got their school shooting problem under control? is the corona virus still widespread? did u ever take a gap year to work and travel? check behind your storage cubes in your bathoom at home for pages of your journal u hid. did u keep in touch with anyone from highschool? or college? what uni did u go to (if u went)? right now i loveeeeeeee watching southpark! i don't really like most of the newer episodes, but i LOVE the older-ish seasons. oh, and statistically u are most like mia wallace from pulp fiction! and now for some words of advice from your younger self: - be hot - femme fatal hot - don't trust anyone - be wild - have fun - don't take anything seriously, relax - everyone and everything will die someday - in the end, nothing will be remembered - "there are no principles; there are only events. there is no good and bad, there are only circumstances." - life is like a little game, that we like to play just for fun - "how do we forgive ourselves for all the things we never became?" - never be ordinary - if you're doing the same thing everyday - no matter how incredible that thing may be - you're stagnating - read 'restoring pride' again - read 'the 5am club' also u better have had a super interesting life and snuck out a bunch and went to a bunch of parties cuz u don't rn and that's super ******* sad. anyway, i hope you enjoyed reading this. i'm going to watch some cool vids a sent me, then i'll have a shower, then i'll do the ******* stupid english work i have to do. i'm def gonna need some energy drinks tomoz. redbull sugar free is my fav! see ya soon, and have a great rest of you life. sincerely, your 16 year old self. i love you no matter what xoxo :) :)
