A letter from March 20th, 2021

Dear 2026 Me, Today is 2021, you are doing an activity for your online class. You are still in college. Tagal mo nang nag aaral. You are disappointed at yourself most of the time. You overthink a lot. You are recently heartbroken. Really, deep inside you are a mess. The past few days were hard for you, always Sad. I just wanted to say that despite all these things im proud of you. You kept going and going. Waking up and fighting over and over. Tell me where are you now, are you happy? Did you find love or did love find you? You have a lot to give. You are enough. The struggles made you and I stronger. Id like to think that you are in place in life that you chose gladly. Life is fleeting. So whatever happens, love anyway. whatever life throws at you, choose to be soft and kind anyway 'cause thats what we always do. Life is fleeting. I hope you forgive yourself for all the mistakes and kabobohan and karupukan you did. Hahahaha. Life if fleeting. 5 years later and here you are reading this. Hug all the persons and pets you adore, for me. Tell them I love them already even if some of them I havent met. Hahahahahahahah we are such a weird being. Im just hoping and praying, everyday, that you make it, that you are on your way where your heart's at ease, content, and full of love. There is still a lot to learn, still a lot to see. Mabuhay ka hanggang gusto mo hehe. I dont always love you but I trust you and am proud of you for always trying and making it this far. Grateful and hopeful, 2021 You
