Dear FutureMe,
I'm in the airport in Atlanta. I have my headphones on. I'm listening to Yo La Tengo. It's nice because it's Christmas Eve Eve. I have that wonderfully timeless feeling right now. I always get it in airports. Things will be good. I can't wait to see my family. I love all of them. And my friends. It's always strange to go back to Dayton. You don't realize how well you know a place until you leave. Anyway, I was just writing to encourage you to pick up your pen. I have a feeling I don't have to tell you that. You're a writer. So do it.
Peace out,
Fredrick
P.S. Merry Christmas (or is that an outdated phrase now?)
