A letter from March 17th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, hey how's life? Are you doing okay? I'm not now but I know I will be fine. Did you graduate dental school yet? Are you working? you better be making that money girl, we didn't do this for nothing. So *whispers* did you find your man yet? I mean rn I'm not sure if I want to find a man but what do I know I'm literally 19 years old still. Also Im writing this in March 21, 2021. Covid is still active and we're still social distancing. Im hopefully starting work as an English teacher in a course with shosho next week. That's the 21st of March. I'm so excited to make my own money and be independent without needing anybody else. You're probably wondering how 19 year old Alaa is doing since you're so forgetful. Well, it's not so great. Mom and dad are still being childish, constantly fighting and cheating on each other. They won't give me money for my simplest needs ex: doctor for my neck and shoulders (oh btw did u get that fixed yet?) ALSO I HAVE BRACES NOW!! how are those teeth looking? show me a smile. GIRL U LOOK GOOOOOD soooo are u still friends with alaa and abrar and rowan and rowan hossam? They're my absolute life rn, they keep me going. How's the cats? Mila, Latte, Bruno?
