Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Life in the present seems hard at the moment but I know that it will only get worse. You are trying to figure yourself out as well as be a good human. You have great passions for things that seem unrealistic and you doubt your ability to achieve your goals. The obsession with prom has gotten worse and you need help.. I just added 5 new dresses to your already 300 or more dress wish list. I hope the night is as good as I hope it is. I've only been planning for it since 6th grade. Do you still think a Sweet and Sassy limo would ever be a good idea (please say no). Even though your goals seem impossible there are a few I do expect you to achieve. Have all A’s and B+’s in high school. Model for something,,, it sounds fun, get into a fashion school, Travel as much as possible, and go to Norway. Have at least had a suitable partner/crush of some sort that wouldn’t end up beeing a butt hole of a person. Help as many people as possible, and make sacrifices to do so. I would be interested to know what your life is like now and if it is at all anything like I envision it. Are you ok??? Hahah I doubt it. Knowing me, I've gotten myself into trouble. Take care of your sister and love your cats (plz God let them be alive). In hopes for a bright future, Kate 14 The year will be 2025 Whaaaa??? This was my letter to past me, Dear past self, Learn to be less naive about the world around you. Consider other opinions than your own. Over the years I have become older, obviously, as well as a little more smart (I think). One recommendation would be to try to lie as less as humanly possible. I know it seems like it would help at the time, but it always ends up hurting you in the long run. Take time to enjoy your youth and don’t forget to spend time with your family. You will not always have them forever. Explore your interests, and find connections. Get ahead of the game and skip the awkward phases. Find friends who are actually good friends and avoid those who are nice to you because they have to. Learn early on to talk to people on a human level and try your best to avoid the whole “socially awkward” thing (it sucks). Things are currently going in the present, it would be great if you learned time management skills earlier on in life. I get stressed out every time I think of school or volleyball, it feels like I am going to barf. These activities are high risk high reward so it’s important to decide if they are worth it. Spend time with your Grandparents would you? Alzheimer's is a butt hole, they have such important stories and lessons to tell you.
