Dear Future Me,
One thing I'm surprised I've done is climb a plastic rock wall on a cruise ship while being afraid. You may or may not remember that time, but I do. The first prolonged feeling of fear that was never felt before. I thought that I was worthless, unable to do anything worthwhile. However, my family was there to give me the strength to continue and the feeling afterwards was worth it. I would tell my younger self, "There's no shame in asking others for help. There's always someone who'll be happy to help you." I would tell my future self, "Find the balance between worrying about yourself and worrying about others. Also, remember that the brain is the most important muscle."
Sincerely,
Past You
