Dear Future Me,
How are things going in your time? It’s okay here, but with Covid and all, it is not the best. Covid's already lasted a year in the US! We’re having classes online, and we can’t meet up with anybody in person. I hope everything goes well after the pandemic! Speaking of which, the vaccine is out now! I wonder how the president will handle it, as he’s already 78. I’m almost as tall as my mom now, how much more do I grow?
So currently, our technologies include the internet, 3d printing, and lasers! But how advanced are the technologies in your time? Are classes still online, or is the pandemic over and we can go to school again? The Internet is pretty smooth already, and websites start with www. And end with .com, or .org. Are websites still around or are they advanced, or replaced? Another thing I wanted to ask you, e-banks are now a thing, but not widespread. You know, when you can scan your phone to access money?
Next, what are my interests by then, like do I still like to read stories online? Right now, I’m not really sure what I want to do when I grow up, but do I have a job yet? Am I still in contact with Jerry and James? I’m still learning Chinese and Chinese culture in general, and I’m not sure if it will have a big impact on my life or not. I like playing Minecraft, though I’m not very good at it, do I keep playing, or do I lose interest?
The topic I wanted to talk about the most is about the world in your time. How does the coronavirus end? Climate change is gradually growing worse, but I hear that our president Joe Biden is planning to do something. Are any animals extinct by then? And something my mom wanted to know, what is China’s cultural standpoint? Also, am I still vegetarian? I’ve been since the ninth of May 2019.
I hope that in the future, my morals are still good and that some of my bad habits are gone. Like my habit of procrastinating, which showed in the almost two months that I put off writing this! I’m now just a little taller than my mom!
