Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi Atty. Mary Irish Alve Arrieta. I’m writing this at 4:46 am. Your on your second sem second year irreg in law school. I hope when you read this 5 years from now you already got that “atty.” with your name 🥑. I’m so so so proud of you; for making it this far. Thank you 21 yr. old self for not giving up. You did not get discouraged of the bumps along the way. Your law journey is an obstacle never meant to be finished easy but you finished strong (? lol hahaha). You did not take these setbacks as reasons to quit. You remain focused on the dream to become a lawyer and for not stopping to realize that you are near your dream. Thank you for enduring the pain a little longer. I bet it took you tears countless rejections, breakdowns and “i cant do it anymore” but still here you are. Thank you for holding on a little bit more. You gave yourself and your dream more time to materialize. Look at you now, you live to that day when you able to tell yourself that you made it. I bet the journey is painful, may it be in life in general & in law school. Going uphill was really tiring. I hope you’re genuinely happy now. I hope you’re stable in all aspects. I hope you’re in a great place with work. I hope you’re able to live your purpose- helping others especially the people who are unfortunate & voiceless. I hope you’re using your license well and for a great cause. Are you already engaged? Are you with arthur noah? I hope you’re still with him because right now you cant imagine a life without him in it. You cannot imagine a life that exists without his arms interlocked with yours, or yourlips kissing a mouth that is not his. If you’re still with him, i’m sure your happy. I bet you’re living the best life with him already. The life you’ve always wanted. I hope you’ve become the best version of my self. The mia i’ve always wanted. The woman i’m destined to be- strong, passionate, genuinely happy and unbothered with all the ********* of the world Thank you 26 years old mia. For not forgetting how wildly capable you are 🦋🤍
