A letter from February 22nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday, its the big 3-0. I know you were scared for this moment but remember how scared you were at 25 aka the person writing to you. 5 years seems like such a long and short time. I hope it went slowly for you sake because I know how scared you were. I hope though over the last 5 years so many things have changed. I hope you got to travel the world for work. I hope you moved out of that town that was constantly draining us. I hope you found true self-love, I'm assuming you did if you're reading this. That means you got through some really though times. I'm sure they were not easy but it's good to know that there was enough happiness in there that made you keep going. I hope you found love with the world and that you found your place in it. Don't listen to those that say when you're 30 that's when life's over. I know you have so much in you right now to keep wanting to travel and wander and do everything your heart desires. Gosh I can't believe we made it this far in this moment that I'm writing this it's so hard to believe. I have constant anxiety and self hatred that I can't even imagine what it would be like to be happy. But it's a goal right now to find that happiness and move on from this chapter in life.
