A letter from February 21st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, This would be the first time I'm writing a letter to be delivered 5 years from now (and also the first time having it public). This is also my second letter for today, hah. Future me, are you happy right now? Are you finally in Malta (or anywhere away from home)? Did our baby girl grow up to be with the values we want her to have? Or did our relatives truly ruin it for us? Right now while I'm writing this, I just want to remind you that we tested positive for corona a week ago (got it from cousin who tested positive a 2wks ago) and that I'm currently in self-isolation. At babygirl's godmother, our neighbor, they're currently having a birthday party for Princess's 7th birthday and we were supposed to be there with babygirl part of the program (7 Balloons) but due to testing positive, we can't. And babygirl's been watching movies ever since I went into self-isolation (wish they wouldn't make her watch too many movies). Anyway, I hope this doesn't affect her attitude much (give her aunt and grandma a scolding if it did even if it's years from now lol). I hope you're still with Lee. I wrote yearly since 2018 asking about him and as of 2021, we're good FINALLY. It took years and somehow there's part of him that doesn't believe my feelings for him but after showing him our letters starting 2018, he finally believed me (it happened few minutes earlier). Still, there's part of me that's afraid. He finally believes me but somehow, there's part of me that doesn't trust myself and only you can give me clarity on that. If you're still with him then I can finally let my mind be at peace. And if you aren't, oh god I can only hope you didn't hurt him because I'll do whatever to go there and give you a beating. AND I JUST RECEIVED A CALL SAYING BABYGIRL ALSO TESTED POSITIVE SO HOW ABOUT THAT I TOTALLY WENT BLANK. We haven't been staying in the same room for a week now. Anyway, I have to go. Gotta make some calls and if possible ask for a reswab somewhere for babygirl.
