A letter from February 15th, 2021

Time Travelled — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi! :) It's your 30th birthday! Congrats! You’ve made it! I hope you already achieve what's in your heart. :) Be it your most awaited "love life" hahaha! You're dream job, dream house, dream car, dream business. Whatever it is, I'm proud of you. :) I'm sure, by now you already know/do whatever you want. Well, at least have a hint what do you want in the future and you're pushing yourself to achieve it. Let your 25 y/o self proud. :) You're 25 self is the worst. Countless negative/suicidal thoughts, sleepless nights, late night crying in the shower. I won't elaborate it na, you'll just be depressed again. Hahaha! I know you're fine now and just laughing all the ***** you've been to. :) But please, always choose to be happy and stay alive. There's so much in life you wanna experience. White Christmas, watching Cherry Blossom, travel the whole world, try all the savory and exotic food, get a tattoo and etc. I know you're pushing yourself hard o be sound motivated as possible while writing this letter but, I do hope you don't need to push yourself hard while reading this. You've been through so much, all I wanted for you is to be genuinely happy. That's all. I hope you're experiencing it now. :) It's already 3:43AM and it's your 3rd letter you've been writing for your future self after watching To All the boys I loved before Part 3. I've actually run out of words to say. Hahaha! But while reading this play "Beginning, Middle and End" by Leah Nobel. It's a love song tho. Hahaha! It may not be related to this letter, but, just listen to it okay? That would be all for now. I know you're already in the right place with the right people. Enjoy and protect it. :) Don't doubt me okay? I know you're happy and contented now. Wanna know why? Because you are me. :) Goodnight. I love you. -Mariel ❤️
