A letter from February 14th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I wonder where you are right now. you should be finishing high school unless you dropped out and become a stripper like you said you would. if you didn't, I hope that you're going to college next year to study law. I really hope we didn't give up on that dream. anyways, I'm in Sweden now and I should be studying but I have zero motivation. I hope we worked on that. you weren't so happy 5 years ago. I mean life is okay. you have a lot of friends and you have fun and laugh a lot and even get in trouble for laughing too much in class bahaha. but you love someone who doesn't love you back. at least for now. I don't know if you remember Luka grgic. on this day 5 years ago, you believed he was your soulmate. I mean you guys look at each other like you're about to kiss. and you sent him nudes. you're currently going through a phase where you deal with your problems by sleeping and sending nudes to boys. I hope that passed, if not I'm cool with too. as long as you're happy. and I hope you forgot about Luka by now and if you did and I just reminded you I'm sorry. maybe you should text him... I don't know. but I hope you guys got to kiss at least once in these past 5 years. Miriam was your best friend and I sure as hell hope she still is. She's your other half and I hope you guys still stayed best friends in these past 5 years. if not reach out to her, even if you got into a huge fight, you love her. and please text her. also your relationship with dad is ****. I hope you fixed that and that you are finally good enough for him and that he is proud. is corona goneeee. I hope it is. you have online school right now because that virus took over your life. but you like online school. mostly because you hate everyone in your school. but also love them at the same time. I hope you finally are able to figure what you're feeling. because 5 years ago, you were terrible at showing your emotions and recognizing them. you used to bark and growl at people because your emotions and feelings took over. you were pretty funny in 8th grade, I hope you still are. anyways I'm going to shower now. it's the best part of my day. one would say I might be depressed, oh well... I'll be fine. I hope you're doing okay now and that you're happy. btw I'm really rooting for you and Luka to end up together. I hope you are. if not, go get him back. I'm not sure what happened between you guys yet, but whatever it was, just remember how much you loved him 5 years ago. I promise you, he is your soulmate and you better end up with him. maybe not yet, but in another 6-10 years. don't forget about him. I love you emma.
