A letter from February 10th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, At this moment i'm studying to become a Software Developer, in the middle of a global pandemic. I am currently learning a lot programming languages and a lot of self-growth stuff. Right now the future is very unpredictable and nobody knows how this situation will influence our future or mine. Last year when the first lockdown happened I found myself in a tough situation. It all started with motivational problems which made me not want to do my college assigments. Because of that I failed last years class and I had to do it all over. This year I promised myself that I would do everything to finish this years college. The things I missed the most about normal live is partying, going to the stadium too watch my favorite football team and doing fun things such as going to theme parks or restaurants. My favorite football team is Ajax and even tough I can't watch them play in the stadium, they still have too play. It helps me alot because it's atleast something to cheer for. This pandemic ain't just drama and fire. Because this summer I found myself a lovely person who is now my girlfriend. In the beginning of August, we started to see each other and soon enough we both realised something special happened. At this moment we really are extra important too each other since we both are the person we are allowed to meet. We see each other almost everyday and she also really motivates me. As example, this month we are doing a no social media challenge. Where we can not use social media and midweek we have to wake up at 7 am. At this moment the most important thing or person are my family, my girlfriend and finishing my college. And ofcourse my other bestfriend. This year I learned that I shouldn't worry about thing I cannot control. That is how I see everything around me and that is what I will always remember. Kind regards, past me
