Dear FutureMe,
You probably don’t remember because you have a adhd but I wrote you a letter 5 years ago. I’m in sec 4, at college de L’Assomption and miss Libby, my English teacher asked us to write a letter to our futur self.
To start off with, my closest friends that has always been there for me since 4th grade are Neo, Magalie, Amana and Flaurance. Yet they’re still in my life and I don’t know what I would do without them and I hope they’re still in my life as you’re reading this. My family is still alive and because of the pandemic I got closer to them and I hope my grandmother is still alive because her cooking’s EVERYTHING and I love to annoy her. If she’s not around then I hope I’m doing better because I know for a fact it’s going to be hard to recover from her *****. At the moment I’m in a relationship with Emrick and it’s going really well. He brings me joy and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been since I broke up with my ex. If he’s still in my life I hope everything’s going well and that we’re happy together.
In primary school I went to Académie François-Labelle, high school Collège de L’Assomption and for cegep I don’t know where I want to go, maybe Dawson. I want to be a psychologist or something in the health care system. How’s your carrer going? Did you go into the health care system? I hope you like what you’re doing.
I have a bad habit of biting my nails and I wants to stop that. The one thing that I do the MOST is judging people and I really want to change that because no one likes to be judged. I’m the first one to say stop to people who are judging but I’m not better. I’m working out because it makes me feel more confident and it’s something that I like doing. It’s my personal time with myself and I enjoy it.
My BIGGEST dream is to get a Tesla I don’t know why but that type of car has always caught my attention and I hope in the future I’ll be able to purchase one. A dream that I’m in the process of accomplishing is working out to boost my confidence because before I started to exercise I didn’t like my body and since I started I started to like it more and that’s what I wanna keep doing.
I could give you plenty of advice but I’ll give you the top ones that I think you really need to hear. Don’t think only about the others when they need help and get yourself some help when you need it. Right now for me it’s a rough time because of what happened with my first ex and what he did but I finally decided to go get some help. But I know I went through it and maybe I’m fine now. Don’t ever force yourself to do something you don’t want to do and make people understand your decision if you say no then it’s no final. Stop worrying about what others think about you do things that YOU love and you’re doing it for yourself.
