A letter from January 31st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hello! Happy Birthday! Go buy some gifts for yourself. Your younger self really love to do that. How are your pets doing? Are they still there to comfort you? Writing this now, i feel like crying--and i don't know why XD. Enjoy your day with the ones you want to enjoy it with. If you want to celebrate alone, it's fine. Do what you love to do. Are you working hard to achieve our dreams? Are you into law school now? I wonder if you are already in a relationship, but i hope that before you go into that part of your life, you already did what you aim to do alone. Like, traveling overseas, go to concerts, help people in need, having your dream job. If you want to do that with a person you truly love, then i guess it's fine (ew, i hope you achieve it alone). As your 18-year-old self, I feel that being in a relationship isn't for us. I am happy right now with my family, pets, and homies; I don't need a boyfriend. What about you? Please stay happy, and take care of yourself. In your birthday right now, please eat cheesecake and milkshake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D
