A letter from January 28th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Today is the day before you move to Tennessee. You probably don’t live there anymore. Hopefully you’re in some place you enjoy. 20 years old is an old age. I hope you’re happy. These messages I keep sending you are sappy, but I really need you to remember to keep on going. I’m about to start a new beginning. It’s gonna determine your future. I really hope I make the right choices and you are happy. Happy Early Valentine’s Day by the way. No one is here to say it to me, but I want you to have someone to say it to you. I’m sad right now. I feel overwhelmed. I hate the feeling, hut it’s not like I can stop it. I just want friends who won’t hate me. I want someone in my life that isn’t just myself. Get yourself a pet or something. Oh and you should listen to “Loser” by Jagwar Twin for some nostalgia. Or “Mostly” by Vian Izak. Good luck, future me! Wish me luck too.
