WAKE UP!!!

Time Travelling — almost 2 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, So, let's take a look at the situation right now today... It's November 20, 2003, almost midnight, and you're reading these posts on this website where people write letters to themselves. Most are silly, a few insightful, and some really heartfelt stuff. It's amazing how talking to and listening to yourself can be more insightful than talking to another person, but I'm getting off track... Right now, today, you're 22; You're still not back in school; You're still a virgin; You're still single; You live at home; You're in a band with the son of God; and you have no car. Wow, that's really quite sad seeing all that truth staring back you altogether, but I guess that's what's so therapudic about this. I hope that by the time you read this, all of this will have changed. Some things I've learned some things about myself (you), but now it's time to put that knowledge to use... Hopefully, at this point you're still over that girl that today your telling yourself that you're over. If not, and you're together, then forget about her. It just wasn't meant to be, and she's not worth torturing yourself over. Also, this whole period where you're not doing anything with your life is really depressing. I am at best, a sad individual. Hopefully, you're (I'm) back in school finally, and trying to do something worthwhile. What's going on with the band? Are all the current members intact (A,C,D,P, and you?) Are you famous? Are you rich? That'd be great, you deserve it, and there are lots of people that you know that deserve the help you could provide for them if you had the means to do so. Have a car yet? I can only assume you (I) do. Do we like it? Is it a good one? This must be tied in with the living at home thing... Most likely you're still there, but you gotta do what you gotta do until you can do something else you want to do, you know? OK, my advice to you is, if you're not the person you want to be by now, then you're lost. You need to get on track to becoming the person you were meant to be. I vow to be more like the person that I hope you are. I'll loosen up a bit (OK, alot...) and try to have more fun. Be way WAY more sociable, and make some new friends. The old ones are great, but they aren't around as much as I'd like. I'll make an effort to change that as well (I'll try not to lose touch with people I care about)... Oh yeah, GET LAID! Seriously! Who are you saving it for?! That girl you just got over? NO WAY MAN! Get out there and go wild! Break OUT of the shy guy shell...!!! Also, keep going to the gym, it's good for you and you enjoy it. Get back in school if you're not already. It's not too late... This is turning into a really long letter to yourself, and I'm sure you're getting impatient with your own rambling, but that's just how you are these days. Did anything ever happen with "Maleesha Hornberg" from work at the Fake place? I don't see it happening right now, but who knows, maybe your views will have changed... OK, well I think this is enough for one night. Let's see what happens now... GOOD LUCK YOU (ME)!!!
