A letter from January 23rd, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey, I just got a reminder to send you a letter. Honestly I forgot that I even started sending these. So, what do I say? I mean, right now you're a sophmore in college. You feel really dang old even though I know you're probably groaning reading that sentence since you'll be 5 years older when you read this. You're talking to a guy right now named Ryan, he's from Connecticut. I wonder if that went anywhere or it fizzled out like most romances do. I mean, you'd know. In 5 years I hope I'm in some kind of steady relationship but I guess who knows. And if you're not, that's okay, you're still hot. And God still loves you. That's another thing, I really hope we've only just grown stronger in our faith, and if not, this is your wake up call to go to church on Sunday. Say a prayer tonight. God loves you. Other than that, I mean were still technically in this crazy COVID-19 pandemic thing. But most people don't take it seriously anymore tbh, so life's kinda normal again, but everyone still wears masks. I guess you're graduated by now, which is weird to think about, but I hope wherever you ended up job-wise is treating you well. I hope you love teaching as much as I think we will and I hope that you never lose your spark for performance. Love you! Keep fighting the good fight :)
