A letter from January 23rd, 2021 (Starting a new Decade)

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I am writing from the start of the most crucial decade of your life. the time you'll receive this you will me in the middle of this journey. happy 26th to you. first of all a very happy b'day to you. hope you achieved your dreams. I know this journey hasn't been a very smooth one for you but as you know 'you'll pull it through'. all the best for your future ahead. Well this letter is to congratulate you for completing halfway through this decade. I'll again meet you at the end of this decade (2030) to see how you did it. this time you are going to face and take the most imp decisions of your life, some of which could never be undone. but. don't be disheartened if your don't see it as I am now wishing it to be in 2021. there's always better waiting for you at the other end. This decade is gonna be an untiring series of tasks, college, job, appraisals, downfalls, heartbreaks, attachments, losing dear ones, marriage (oh! God I can't believe i'm talking like this: this word is soooo scary), taking responsibilities,..... never ending, in short, IT'S GONNA BE LIKE A REAL LIFE TIME MACHINE, IN A CLICK OF TIME FROM TEENAGER TO ADULT. I am pretty sure you will excel in it. Now, in the second half of your journey, I presume from here that this point you will be getting ready mentally to be tieing the knot in the coming few years. I have so much curiosity.... are you going for a arranged marriage? or have you finally found someone? is the person like you wanted? or have you set up profiles on matrimonial sites Hahahahhha!!!!!. how's your parents? sister, mama-mami, masi-meso, and DIDUN????? i know i have diff of opinions with them but i know how much i love them and how much they do, afterall you are the eldest one in family. I'll be so excited to see how you've been doing. i've written much now it's lunch time so i have to go now. but don't forget to write back. ALL THE BEST! YOU'LL GET THROUGH! lots of love <3
