Time Travelling — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, lol hiTo myself, 5 years from now Dear Manrajbir, Whatever you’re doing right now, stop. Go outside. Do something you enjoy. Take a moment to go have yourself an enjoyable personal day, you deserve it; you must be so exhausted from being determined to achieve your dreams. Or maybe you are already where you want to be, or rather, where I want to be. I truly hope you are a better me, which I am certain you are. I hope it is not lockdown for you and that this COVID-19 virus has ceased to be a problem hopefully as soon as this year. I do not want you to be stuck in lockdown like I am, having to attend online classes while not being able to go outside to many places; it feels quite antisocial to be stuck inside and not see your friends. I am writing at the start of 2021, as you may remember – 2020 was terrible. Hopefully you can let me know if the rest of my 2021 will be better, it has been stable so far (apart from COVID-19 being on the rise). This is meant to be a part of an assignment I have to do because I am stuck in lockdown, though I will keep this for my future self to have a read of this and have a little laugh while I reminisce of the good memories but think back to the boring aura of lockdown. I want to ask though, are you successful in life yet? Have you achieved your dreams? Have you got what you wanted? (Or rather, what I want?). What failures did you encounter? What did you learn from them? Are you in a better position than I am now? One thing you should have learnt is the value of patience, you must have waited long for this dreadful lockdown to end. All in all, if anything went wrong, you know that it got better; and anything you are going through, you will get over it. Until we meet, Future Self, Me, in lockdown
