A letter from January 16th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, by now you'd be in your 3rd year or (if your plan didn't work out) 2nd year of uni, you holdin up well? whenever i look at the news and all the calculations, i feel like the world is closer to its end. has world hunger ended? has the rich been taxed? has feminism won? has the patriachy been overthrown? has carbon emissions been cut down at least half of what it was in 2020? have world politics settled down? probably not, nothing changes this fast. after all, we're selfish ******* who just want to hoard their wealth NOW. how's uni life? maybe you're still stuck in home, having to learn everything online and handing in assignments at the very last minute coz you ******* hate deadlines and group work. but i guess we'll get through it, like how we got through tj, like barely passing ****. i love you *****. take care of yourself.
