Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Today, you've made a big step and started your own company. In 5 years, when you'll be reading this, I'm sure there'll be plenty of things that you're proud of. Take this moment to reflect on the journey that you have embarked on. Right now, when I'm writing this, I'm full of optimism and excitement. I know there will be difficulties and challenges that won't be easy to overcome, but remember that this is something you've started. You're the only one that can and has to steam on when seas get rough. Here is your once in a lifetime opportunity to build, develop, and grow as an individual and as an entrepreneur. You and you alone are the one who's responsible for the success - don't let temporary setbacks to veer you off course. It's not going to be easy, but it's the only way. When you're reflecting, remember the position you're in right now - unsatisfied with your job, during a crisis, and unhappy with your career. With the pandemic and political situation, the world is a shi*show - but that shouldn't affect you. Grasping this opportunity is the way out of misery. I hope you have learned a lot in the last five years, mostly not being headstrong, shallow, and non-persistent. Embrace your relationships, give and use the support of people around you, don't shy away from conflicts. Establish and keep habits (remember your first triathlon was in May 2021), and stay the f*ck away from toxic people. You've got this, and I'm sure that you'll rock the next five years! Good luck
