A letter from January 13th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It's January 13, 2021. Covid-19 is going strong with controlling the world. I'm scheduled for Friday to get my first shot of the vaccination. I have 3 years and 264 days left to I can retire. I've started playing a lot in the stock market so hopefully when I read this we will be very comfortable with out financial situation. If my plan of today goes as I plan it, I'll be reading this email in Tennessee. My handyman business is going well and I'm putting as much money away as I can for the future. My hope is when I'm reading this I won't need to work. It's been two months since Dad died. It's still kind of hard process since he was locked in the hospital/rehab for so long due to the Covid-19. I don't think it will really sink in until the world goes back to normal. There is a lot of turmoil in the White House. They are trying to impeach President Trump again even tho his term is up next week. I voted for him and I'd do it again. I'm worried what the differences will be since the Democrats are taking over. It could be a whole new country when I read this. I only pray it's for the better but we all know, time will tell. The kids are doing okay, Tehya just got a job at Shoprite, this is her third job since turning 16 and she's only been 16 since July. She is full remote from school, I feel she is not learning like she should be and I hope when I read this she is doing well and lost her laziness. Kai/Trenton/Shayna has changed his name again since he decided he did not want to be a girl and was trans. He is now Trenton but goes by Trent. He is also being very lazy with school and life. He has been working with a personal trainer and is supposed to start at a gym. I sure hope when I read this they both are doing well. I sure hope this letter finds you well. To the future me from the past me.
