A letter from January 12th, 2021

Dear Mira, On January 6th 2021, there was a domestic terrorist attack at the US capitol. This was in response to Trump supporters outraged that their candidate didn’t win the election of 2021. Thecapitol was vandalised; tables were thrown, windows were broken, things hanging up on the walls were ripped off. I wonder how—or if—you guys in 2026 talk about this? Or do you not talk about it? How are things politically in 2026? Does the US have a good government now? I hope you remember about that day, despite it being not the greatest.
