A letter from January 12th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, It's January 12th, a very stressful busy day may I add. It's the end of the term, your moms birthday and you have counseling today. Oh! And Aaran plays his guitar for show choir for the first time. Did he stick with it? Is he still welding? Man, he was so good at that. You'll be receiving this on his birthday actually. Are you guys still together, are you guys even still friends? If not, what happened hun? Are you doing ok? Do you remember those days? Hanging out with him, being treated right, being genuinely loved, having a best friend that you can talk to and will understand you, someone you can be silly with. I wonder, did you continue to work hard toward your dreams? Did you go to college and stay in college. What career did you choose. Did you become a dog trainer like your aunt? I know life is hard and I know you wanna give in and just give up, but you need to keep working hard. Push toward what you want, to make you happy. You're such a good student! You just need to try. I know you're so kind hearted but you can't let people walk over you and you can't compromise your happiness for them. You matter! Im saying this because I know I have depression now, but maybe you don't in the future. Talking about the future, Is covid-19 still a thing? Still gotta wear those mask and hide your pretty face? Yes, I just complimented you, and you better take that compliment and believe it, cause you are pretty! Those Insecurities are really only visible to you. Don't focus on them hun. Anyway, I love you darlin, and I hope you're doing ok. Don't miss these days, don't let them just pass by. Live everyday and let yourself enjoy it.
