Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, This year has been crazy, it is now the beginning of 2021. The year 2020 started off great I graduated from college and got a job at the start of the year in Radiation Protection at OPG. I started renting a townhouse with Patrick and Emily, I thought it was a great idea. Saving money and renting with friends in a strange city. Then I worked on days and did rubber areas for the first few weeks on days. I had enough of that and volunteered at Darlington NGS. I was having a great time until the Coronavirus hit mainstream news and many things were shutdown. I was laid off for 4 months. During those 4 months, I was unable to buy toilet paper and cleaning essentials for a while. It was a lot of fun and boredom at the same time. I drank a lot and tried shrooms for the first time, that in itself was an experience the seagulls were saying **** and the grass was growing around me it was a cool experience. I didn't spend much time at home as Laurie was really mad when I left telling me not to go back while the virus was around I couldn't spend more than 3 weeks there I enjoy quiet and uneventful days. When I got called back to work I was happy about the Single channel fuel replacement outage, and I think that I was liked at DNGS. I then went back to Pickering and worked nights since then with a lot of overtime and found it great I love working with my crew they are all so kind. I also lost my grandma Ursula this year it was sad I used to be so close to my grandparents and I didn't even know she had cancer. It is a hard pill to swallow but I did that to myself. I think the hard part of going to the funeral was my mom didn't even show up or maybe I didn't recognize her. Anyway I went home for Christmas and saw my family I really needed to visit them. Something that I am so proud of is getting rid of all my debt this year.
