A letter from January 8th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear future Me, I just wanted to remind you about your life from 6th grade to the first semester of 9th grade. Yes, these years were the years with the most wounds, battles, scars, and pain. But these years were also were you changed for the better and became someone stronger and changed your life for the better. Remember the middle of 9th grade first semester. When you broke into million pieces? Remember how despite being through lots of other battles you let yourself almost fail in this battle cause of your wounds. But you didn’t stop trying. Even after being **********, hurt, betrayed, and wounded severely by your family. You didn’t stop trying to pull yourself out of every single obstacle life through at you. Those nights you cried yourself to sleep, and woke up the next day just to be too numb to do anything. And cry yourself back to sleep as this cycle continued. Your pain made you sacrifice your grades in your classes. You were broken. But you didn’t stop moving forward and finding ways to bring your grades to 3.5 and above. You made plenty of blunders during this time but you asked for help and made things right with the help of people who w ere there to support you. Even when you wanted to disappear from the world and rest in peace. You didn’t give up! Because you knew that your life is yours to control. And no matter how many obstacles come your way you should never let yourself fall victim. I am righting this letter to you in a time where everyone is quarantine and schools world wide have shifted to distance learning. You were not allowed to go outside to go for walks or talk to any of you friends during this time. You were living during a world wide pandemic. And despite the conditions, personal struggles, and lack of freedom. You still managed to persevere and make it to your dream college/university. You have so much ahead of you in life. When a problem is presented to you. Just remind yourself your always bigger than the problem and there is always a way to pull yourself back up. Being in a global pandemic due to the spread of covid. Made you also take part in other hobbies. You passed majority of your time in quarantine by singing drawing, and working out. Even though you were in a global pandemic and in a negative head space. You still learned to find happiness in small hobbies and simple pleasures of life. Make sure to take this character trait with you! Make the most of life and learn to persevere through any issue! Follow your goals of becoming a Hematologist, and making medical free and available to the people who can’t afford proper medication. Makes sure to stay focused and not let nay heartbreak, emotional trauma, and pain interfere with your dreams and goals. And always ask for help and do the right thing no matter what. One event that I want you to always remember in the future from this time of quarantine. Is when you got out of your depression that you were diagnosed with by getting your three guinea pigs and learning to talk to people about your problems. One historic event aI want you to remember is all the protests in humanity that were spiraling during this time as well. I wish you the best for the journey your on! Never give up! And even when the world betrays you never betray yourself! Sincerely, Yourself,
