A letter from January 8th, 2021

Dear Future Natalia, Today is January 7th, 2021. 2020 was a rough year, you'll remember that, but it was also filled with joy. You got engaged to George and now, you're planning the little adventure wedding of your dreams. Today, you found your venue–the perfect little house in Spain, and I hope you end up getting married there after all. You're also realizing that maybe having kids isn't for you...that's okay. Give it time. You're SO young. No one is rushing you. Also, you're learning to accept and let go of this false sense of control you always want to have over things. Like when a wave tumbles you around, you just let go and float to the surface, that's what you're learning to do in real life. I hope when you get this, in 5 years, you're closer to that feeling. Also, you're turning 30 this year! You've been waiting for this moment since you were 15, like you had a feeling your 30's were YOUR decade. I wish you the peace, the idgaf-ness you're looking for, and the presence to be HERE for it all. I love you, I'm proud of you, wherever you are. Love, Me.
