A letter from January 7th, 2021

Jan. 7th, 2021 Dear Jake, Today is January 7th, 2021, you're a sophomore in high school. You were just recently in Mr. Sauceda's 4th period Avid going over a brief lecture. Right now you future Jake are a straight "A" student with a lot of friends who are doing this same assignment as you. You're 16 and about 6'2 with dreams of playing college ball. Yesterday you saw one of the saddest and most gut wrenching events, you witnessed Trump supporters rush the offices of the U.S capitol in Washington, D.C. You are witnessing a world wide pandemic that has ****** millions in all nations. Mom and Dad have you in quarantine as of many other parents have theirs, You're worried right wondering if you will be able to play Football your Junior and Senior year. It's a very uncertain time in the world and you Jake will get through it. This is past Jake wishing you turned out to be what you wanted to be and is hoping all is well. Past Jake is letting you know everything will be ok. Past Jake is looking to go to college and to graduate at the top of his class. You are seeking a future playing Football at the D-1 level. You see yourself in 5 years doing so and being a successful person in society. Future Jake will look back and see how far you have come and hopefully will be proud and will have no regrets in life. You have to keep going as past Jake always found a way to keep going. Love, Past Jake
