A letter from January 6th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I sit here wondering what to write to you for you will know more than I do currently... or at least I hope. Being surrounded by so much *****, my father, my grandmother, close friends has put a damper on the beginning of the year. But with my Husband and Toddler (and sometimes my crazy dog) a bright light helps guide me. I have hopes in 5 years that you will not be plagued with the hard memories that often find me when I am alone. I will find out in 1 month if my job contract is being extended, if so I hope you have found a way to earn some sort of promotion by then... if not, I hope you have found something else that brings you joy. In 5 years I hope to add another addition to my family, have finished the basement, finally get my car back from the autobody shop after hitting that deer... like what are they doing with it? turning it into a spaceship? Overall I hope to be happy. Good luck future me.
