Dear Future Me,
I don’t know what year you’re reading this, but this was written in 2020. You definitely remember this year. So many horrible things happened. Kobe died, Australia had horrible wildfires, the whole world went into complete lockdown, ****** hornets came around, a black man was ****** by a cop and the whole country started protesting, we had to do school online, we have to wear masks pretty much everywhere we go, and so many more tragedies. Hopefully, by the time this is being read, life is as normal as possible and we don’t have to wear masks anymore. There’s so much controversy going on, whether it’s about people in office or just trying to keep everyone else safe. I just wish everyone would try to get along and stop bashing each other. I believe this country will be great again one day if we all work together, and hopefully, that will be in the near future, because we need it a lot right now. Anyway, I hope we did well in school and I hope we got into a good college. Did you get into a medical school? Are you on your way to becoming an OBGYN? Did you find a way to help the homeless? I really hope so. I really want us to do something good with our life. It’s insanely boring right now and I don’t stand out in any way, but I really want to change that. I want to help people in every way possible. I know that is a little far fetched, but it makes me so sad seeing the less fortunate. Maybe we can open up a house for people who are struggling or make a program to help them get back on their feet. I guess I shouldn’t be worrying about that right now. I know we can do great things. I can’t wait to get through 2020. Only 14 days left!
Take care,
Annabeth Adams
