A letter from January 4th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, it’s okay if you haven’t bought a house yet or if you still aren’t in a seriously relationship. I hope you like yourself more than you do now. All I ask is that you like yourself more. You don’t even have to love yourself yet but if you like yourself just a little bit more then that’s progress. I hope you’re eating well and aren’t depriving yourself of food bc you think you don’t deserve it. You literally deserve the world and I hope you can see that in the future bc right now you’re hoping for a better future for yourself. You’re so mean to us we don’t know what to do. You won’t do anything about the things you don’t like but you don’t even not like them you let other people tell you what you do and don’t like you take their opinions into consideration waay too much and you don’t think about how things make you feel. I hope you have explored your *********. I know you’ve been struggling with that a lot the past couple of years. I was real worried about what you would do a year or so back but glad you’re here and I hope you love and accept yourself no matter what or who you are. I love you so much. I hope you’re in a different head space mentally when you read this and it’s a better space than you are now. It may not be the best but it will probably be better than your lowest point. I love you and as long as I love you you don’t have to worry about anyone else. My opinion is the only one that matters and my love is all you need. No one can take my love for myself away from me. I love myself and I hope I can make that love much bigger in the years to come <3
