Dear FutureMe,
I hope you are well. I hope you no longer have your young, sad soul. I hope that you are doing well in school and I hope you are continuing to pursue your dreams. I hope that you are happy and know your values. You are a beautiful woman now, and I wish you well. Currently (2020 age 13), you are lost. I haven’t found myself as of yet and I have yet to find myself. Grandma and Grandpas ***** has affected me deeply and I haven’t been “myself” ever since. You are a smart girl though, and very pretty. You used to let people destroy your days and you cried al,ost everyday. COVID messed up the entire 2020 for everyone, we were on lock down for months and if we went outside, masks had to be worn. The BLM movement was also a big event in 2020. Police officers randomly ****** African Americans such as George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. African Americans and many other groups of people with many differ ethnicities began to fight back, resulting in riots and protests. All of these events played a major part in history and changed the way I looked at things. I just wanted to tell you that You are enough. Don’t let no one put you down or make you feel like you aren’t good enough. Have respect for yourself and others. Be that example that no one had until you came around. You are getting closer to your dream everyday.
Sincerely, Your younger self
