Time Travelling — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Two weeks ago you found out your mom has lung, liver and back cancer. Life as we knew it two weeks ago has forever changed. Mom had a back operation last week and was right out of her mind for a week. She getting back to her old self though. I pray that mom is still here when you get this e-mail. A cure for cancer would be one thing that I wish has happened when you read this in the future. Christmas won't be the same this year in 2005. My sister's and I don't know how to celebrate as we usually are all together with our families and mom is in the hospital. Today mom has forgotten she has cancer so we have to tell her all over again. Today is Dec. 21st and I only started shopping for the grandkids today. Not much in the spirit of the season. Yesterday I had to take custody of my granddaughter because her mother and father cannot get their act together. I'm usually on shift work and tomorrow I have to ask my employer to switch me to days so that everything can be looked after. I hope he said yes. I had to ask my ex-husband of a month to come back to live with me to help out even though I didn't want to. It's just too much to take all at once. I hope he didn't disappoint you and I hope you have found someone by now that has truly made you happy. I hope the world has found compassion/decency/ morals and love for mankind that seems to be lost this day and age. I hope guns/killing and hate for your neighbour has been replaced with kindness to all. I hope this note finds you and the family in good health and with a brighter look in the future ...future. Lots of love Faith, Hope & Charity PS: Did you pretend you didn't turn 50 last month and are still 48? Remember you are the new 50 and if you didn't have your 50th in 2006, make sure you have a big bash next year.
