Dear Future Me,
2020 has finally said its last goodbye. This year you struggled a lot to get out of that black hole that - we both know - your mind can be sometimes.
Everything has been blurry and out of focus this year, but somehow you got through it. Maybe not as you thought you would, but you did and that's enough. I hope things are better for you now.
I hope your anxiety is under control. Are you doing something that you really like? Did you make it to New York City? Are you in a relationship?
I hope you're happy. I hope you're putting yourself out there, catching every opportunity life offers you.
I hope our family is fine and that we're all still that close.
You and Silvia are probably not living together anymore.. I should remind you to take care of her, but I'm sure you already are.
Don't you ever forget to tell mum and dad that you love them, if you still can.
Always be there for our family. Don't let other people or situations make you forget that they're the most important thing in your life.
At the same time I want you to be brave and to take all those risks I know deep down you want to take. Be there for them, but for yourself too. Do what makes your soul happy and don't be afraid of change. Go wherever your heart takes you, even if it scares you. Be kind and have courage.
Happy New Year!
I love you.
