A letter from January 1st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey there, this is you when you were 15, remember that? By the time you’re reading this you must be 20, am I right? So, did you do it? Did you come out yet? Did you get that binder you always wanted? I hope so, it must suck to stay in the closet for that long. Are you still Nonbinary? Or some other identity? Still pan? Cool, cool. So what name did you chose? Is it still Jo? Or Levi? Or something completely different? Cool, cool. Are you still obsessed with JoJo’s bizarre adventure? It’s a pretty big thing for me right now, it helps me through the tough times. You must have watched part 6 by now since it’s supposed to come out sometime around 2022, is it good? I bet it is. Did you get better at guitar? How about the piano? I’ve always wanted to learn that. How about the violin? Did you pick it back up again? I miss knowing how to play that thing. Did you learn the languages you wanted to learn? Russian? Spanish? Even Japanese? That’ll be pretty cool if you did. Did you cut your hair? I bet you didn’t, but that’s ok, you like the long hair look. Are you still in school? Is it still ceramics, or did you go back to your original idea? Cool, cool. Did you meet your online friends? Are they cool? Please don’t tell me you’ve lost them somehow, be good to them. How’s your art look? I bet it’s progressed so much for where I am right now. I bet I looks so beautiful. Do you still do archery? How about tap dance? Is there any other cool thing you picked up over the years? That’ll be pretty cool. Well, if you don’t remember, I’m kinda stuck in a pandemic right now, I’m hoping by the time you’ve read this it feels like it never even happened, I’m hoping everyone stoped acting like dumbasses and we could move on from all this. One other thing, have you stopped being a little ***** ***** yet? Have you bettered yourself in any way? Are you even reading this at all or did you give up on life. I hope you didn’t.
