A letter from January 1st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey. It’s me! Well, it’s currently 12:08 am, sitting in my bed on the first day of 2021!! So happy New Years and hopefully this year isn’t ****** but who knows. Feelin kinda lonely cuz I miss my best frienddd. Anywyas, airdrie chrysler is going good! dale told my mama that I am doing good and he’s very proud of me. I am too although school is ******* me I haven’t been in the best place because I’ve been lazy and not getting stuff done! Althoughhh I did finish my essay lol at least Madame Emilie won’t hate me for once hehehe. I also ate a little jug of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream... yes the whole ******* thing lmao. I miss my sister she is in Windermere setting fireworks and idk it’s been like not even three weeks and ugh. Brady just passed away and it’s so sad no I’m not crying but god **** that kid was always so sweet he was always the nerdy one out of all of them and the Lamont family is absolutely amazing because they’re just such good people and it’s so sad for Lanice. He is never forgotten and I think mom gonna go see her this weekend. Let’s talk about 2020.. it was **** but also made me realize things. I regret complaining about school because... well it was my life. Every morning I would wake up at 7 am and take the bus or drive and see my friends and the people who annoyed me the most which are the boys, I had a routine, I never got used to anything else. We shut down for a bit in March, supposed to only be for two weeks and now we’re here in January 1 2021 still online since then. We did go back in person schooling in September and omg it was so nice to have life back again. We went online mid November and well let’s just say it was so much more organized!! This semester is pretty good but gotta get that stupid science done! Physics is kinda cool. Also I got into Mount Royal. Obviously you know that, and I’m gonna do it! Doing bachelor of sociology and we will see what the future holds. Where are you now? Well from hannah 2021 I’ll never ever complain about school again because this year sucked! Masks are mandatory everywhere, social distance was too anddd a minimum capacity for stores. **** the corona virus, but it made me learn things, adapt to a change even though I didn’t like it, and know that you can get through anything if you tell yourself you can. Tonight my mom got me calamari and **** it was good! Gotta love mom for getting all of this. Also such a small world, dad was just talking about a guy at my work who he used to work with, Jeremy and he says they called him jerome lol weird. Now I also wanna ask you, who are you friends with? They say that high school friends don’t really last and I wanna know if they did or not. Right now I’m close with same old mads and Sydney, and gabby. But made a new friend this year, kiera! Gabby is my best friend tho, I hope you still talk to her once in a while! Hit her up because you know that she misses you ;) Anyways, happy new year! Cheers to a **** 2020 and hopefully a good 2021. See you five years from now!
