A letter from December 31st, 2020

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear 2022, So, how was 2021? Were you alright? Was it less crazy than 2020? It's now 31/12/2020, at 6:01 pm. It's been such a crazy, wth year. The world turned upside down, I honestly don't know what the heck happened. But at the same time, I learned a lot (perhaps not lol). But I realized a lot though (maybe?). Instead of wishing for a peaceful year (which obviously didn't work lol), this year, I hope that I have the courage to face whatever 2021 brings me. Bad or good stuffs, making the right decisions, or wrong, all I hope for is a braver "me" to face them. Because one's said, Que Sera Sera, so whatever it is, I hope you've had enough courage to face it. I don't know what the future brings, I also don't know if the decisions I made in 2020 would bring you a better 2021 or not. But I hope you've grown up during the year. I hope you made friends. I hope you've figured out your passion (perhaps?). I hope you've found out what to do with;) you know who. For now, I hope during 2021, I can reduce screen time, put more effort into whatever I'm doing, meet more people, and cherish those connections more. I have so many things to tell you, but I don't know how to express em all. Anw, I really hope 2021 gets better. You got this, I believe in you! Congrats, you've survived 2021. You've done a good job, and I'm proud of you! Good luck with 2022, I will see you soon! Love, Maya Hanoi, Dec 31, 2020.
